During the past years, I have had multiple COVID vaccinations (5, if I remember correctly). Not once did I experience an adverse reation, and evidently, I did not die either!
This, however, if you remember, was vociferously predicted by many anti-vaxers many of them staunch advocates of so-called alternative medicine and several keen contributors to the comments section of my blog. Some anti-vaxers claimed that all vaccinated people would die within months; others said that not all but many or most of us would die. Therefore, they insisted, excess mortality would sky-rocket.
None of this happened!
Not only did excess mortality of the vaccinated population not increase, in the UK and US, it even fell slightly – as the graph below clearly shows.
So, the anti-vaxers were wrong!
Do they admit it?
No!
Do they apologise for scaring many and deterring thousands from getting vaccinated?
No!
Is it time they did?
Yes!

And even if there are still excess deaths, then there is no indication whatsoever that vaccines (COVID or other) are responsible for those deaths.
There are strong indications that reduced access to healthcare during the height of the pandemic still has noticeable effects, among other things due to delayed diagnosis and postponed treatments.
Also, there have been ‘catch-up’ effects: COVID countermeasures and especially social distancing were very effective in preventing infections – to the extent that there was no annual peak in influenza and many other respiratory infections. This means that quite a few old, frail people who otherwise would have died from influenza etc. survived – and these ‘postponed deaths’ are now swelling mortality figures.
All these effects are slowly diminishing, which is also reflected in the graphs of excess mortality, which is slowly returning to pre-pandemic levels.
But whatever the cause of any excess mortality, the only influence of vaccines on mortality is a negative one, as in: they prevent, not cause deaths.

What risks? Vaccines have no risks to speak of – virtually any daily activity you may care to mention comes with more risks than getting vaccinated.
The whole problem is that there are Chicken Little-type figures out there who appear to have made it their full-time job to spread Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt over vaccines. Over the past few years, they have come up with at last several dozen completely different ways in which COVID vaccines are very harmful, predicting horrible consequences for large swaths of people who would get vaccinated. None of which of course panned out. No, vaccinated people don’t drop dead in large numbers. No, vaccinated people don’t get ‘turbo cancer’. No, vaccinated people don’t develop autoimmune diseases. No, vaccination does not cause DNA damage. No, vaccination does not lead to never-ending production of ‘spike poison’. Etc. etc.
And it’s quite simple, really: just the sheer number of ways in which COVID vaccines were deemed a ‘health hazard’ by these people already tells us that it’s all nonsense.
Anyway, comments with YouTube or Substack in a link can be safely ignored, as they’re with 99.9% certainty of the Chicken Little type. All vaccines are very safe and quite effective, including the COVID vaccines. There is nothing hidden, and no, those people don’t know things that we don’t – in fact the opposite applies: we know that those vaccines are safe, but they choose not to believe this.
The main problem are the ignoranuses who spread FUD about vaccines being unsafe, without ever producing evidence proving them right. This happens with every single new vaccine that is brought onto the market, and unfortunately, quite a few people listen to said ignoranuses, and not only spread those lies even further, but also choose not to protect themselves – sometimes with deadly consequences.
In a few years’ time, the FUD about COVID vaccines will have mostly died down, when it is abundantly clear that there’s nothing wrong with those vaccines, with only a grumbling baseline of antivaxxers keeping up the FUD.
But by then there will in all probability be a new infectious disease for which a new vaccine is developed – and that is of course the logical next Big Target for ignorant antivaxxers. At which point history will once again repeat itself, as it already has since the days of Edward Jenner.

There are many reports of serious health issues soon after being jabbed by a cocktail of synthetic chemicals that had never been subjected to any long-term trials for safety & efficacy. The trials that were published did not include a wide sample of subjects over a period of a few years. I challenge anyone on this forum to prove me wrong!

It has been known since the beginning of 2021 after administration of the first vaccine doses that thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) can occur in very rare cases. This side effect is stated in the package leaflets and every possible vaccination candidate was informed about it in advance.
