The ‘Society of Physicians and Scientists for Health, Freedom and Democracy’  (Gesellschaft der Mediziner und Wissenschaftler für Gesundheit, Freiheit und Demokratie e.V. MWGFD) recently held a press coference where they presented its 10-point plan for a Corona phase-out concept. Here are their 10 demands (my translation):

  1. Immediate cessation of COVID vaccinations and in particular compulsory COVID vaccination.
  2. End all non-evidence-based non-pharmaceutical measures (NPI’s), such as lockdowns, school closures, mandatory masks in public spaces, isolation, quarantine, contact tracing, stand-off rules, as well as RT-PCR and rapid antigen testing of people without symptoms of disease, and immediately open sports venues, restaurants, churches and cultural institutions to all without access conditions
  3. Pandemic management must be sensibly controlled on the basis of science and evidence, including correct testing of the genuinely ill and correct recording of the epidemic situation. Since this has been neglected for two years, we demand the resignation of the previous advisory experts.
  4. Drawing up easily applicable concepts for the prevention and early treatment of COVID-19 and also for the inpatient and, if necessary, intensive medical treatment of severe courses.
  5. The dominance of one single logic, namely the virological logic, must be ended. Other aspects, such as economic, social, psychological, educational and holistic medical considerations must be included.
  6. Reassuring the population about sufficient medical care for all
  7. The media should provide wide-ranging comprehensive information, according to the ethical guidelines for journalists formulated in the Press Code, without creating fear and panic.
  8. Provide programmes to treat the physical and psychological trauma caused by the operations, especially for children and adolescents
  9. Ending the care crisis through appropriate measures
  10. Separation of powers, justice and freedom

Who would put their name to such complete idiocy?

You may well ask!

As we see, the ‘Society of Physicians and Scientists for Health, Freedom and Democracy’ does not just contain physicians and scientists but also – contrary to its name – simple non-academic loons. And, of course, an important member – the main reason for today blogging about it – it includes SCAM practitioners and – most importantly – Prof Harald Walach who has featured so regularly on this blog.

There has been much discussion recently about the best way to persuade anti-vaxxers to change their minds. As they seem completely resistant to the scientific consensus, this has so far not been an easy task. Many experts tell us that we foremost must not ridicule them. I think the ’10 demands’ show that this is also not necessary because they are so very efficient in doing that themselves.

  • I am not familiar with MWGFD. Are they just your run-of-the-mill rabble rousers or do you they any lobbying power when it comes to persuading the public health agencies and/or the govt to implement their plan?

    • they have a regrettably large following in Germany

      • With all due respect,
it’s rather regrettable that you just dismiss people like that without blushing (i suppose). Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Vohr, for example, is an immunotoxicologist and worked for 26 years as head and principal expert for immunotoxicology at Bayer AG. Three other experts, who have worked for Bayer Pharma for many years, work now with him in a company for toxicological safety management. Among audits and many other things they also write pharmacological and toxicological expert opinions for the approval of drugs. He leads a project group on genetic engineering etc. The same goes for the pathologists, instead of just discrediting people here I would suggest that you look at the results of the examinations and the organ and vascular damage and shocking changes that these examinations have brought to light. Absolutely impressive and then you don’t have to wonder why they enjoy so much support, i am sure.

        • With all due respect, I dismiss the 10 demands because they are dangerous BS

          • You yourself recently held that no one can rule out side effects with certainty. So if people die from heart muscle inflammation or thrombosis, etc., allegedly triggered by a vaccine, who could have the final say if not pathologists?

Needless to say, their work is of great importance to the question of safety, especially since Omikron seems to have been evolved to only settle in the upper respiratory tract/lungs, an advantage the virus is unlikely to give up again,…whereas the vaccine induced lympocyte amok can, potentially, take place in all major organs, it occured even in the “Dura”, they found necrosis of the aorta, endothelities in small, medium and large vessels, destruction of the heart muscle, liver, lung etc. etc. All these has to be considerd also to gage the right measures on the macro level…

            +++++++++++++++

            Is myocarditis post-vaccination ‘mild’?

Dr Peter McCullough is a Texas-based cardiologist, internist, epidemiologist and co-editor of the journal, Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine.

Throughout the pandemic, Dr McCullough has been managing the cardiovascular complications of both the viral infection and the injuries developing after the COVID-19 vaccine.

He rejects the notion that most cases of post-vaccination myocarditis are trivial or “mild”.

“They suddenly develop chest pain, elevated troponin levels [indicates muscle heart damage], EKG changes and about three quarters have evidence of heart damage by echocardiography or MRI,” he said.

Dr McCullough’s experience at the bedside is supported by a large case series of suspected post-vaccine myocarditis in people under 21y, published in Circulation.

Cardiac MRIs showed 77% had abnormalities, and of them, 99% had late gadolinium enhancement (signifies fibrosis or scar tissue) and 72% had myocardial oedema (swelling of heart muscle).

It is too early to tell what the long-term impacts will be for those who develop myocarditis post-vaccination, but a 2019 study published in Circulation suggested 13% of myocarditis cases end up with impaired heart function.

Dr McCullough says this could be just the tip of the iceberg.

“I think there are large numbers of sub-clinical myocarditis going on…”

            +++++++++++++++

I think to dismiss number 10 is certainly dangerous BS,…Do you think J. Ioannidis is conspiracy theorist ?

          • it puzzles me why someone who does clearly not understand the issues insists on making one stupid comment after the next.

          • @DanLucas

            Dr Peter McCullough …

.. is a lying antivaccine a**hole who has spread nothing but dangerous untruths and misinformation about Covid-19. This man deserves to have his medical license taken away – at the very least. His rubbish has probably cost quite a few lives already.

And oh, look at this: https://www.medpagetoday.com/special-reports/exclusives/93936
His former employer is filing suit because McCullough is still using his old affiliations and titles in connection with this healthcare institution while spreading his vile crap. And it seems that pending the damages claim of 1 million dollar, they already secured a restraining order against him. Now does this sound as a ‘doctor’ that you can trust?

          • With reference to your recent blog post, I apologize for the elevated hypertension, Edzard. And thanks a lot for your honesty.

        • @DanLucas

You are from Germany or a German-speaking country, correct? You are a “Querdenker, der gerne spazieren geht” (‘lateral’ thinker who likes to go for a walk) who tries to fool the commentators as many of them are certainly not so familiar with the German Corona denier and Anti-vaxxer scene.

Though luck for you as I am from Germany. So, all you blustering and the reference to so-called experts is for the trash can.

For the other readers, who want to inform themselves properly about German Corona deniers and anti-vaxxer, I recommend the following links. With a good translation program (e.g. deepl.com) it should be no problem to read and understand the articles.

Regarding the MWGFD, we best start with the following article: https://scienceblogs.de/gesundheits-check/2022/01/22/mwgfd-mit-wahnsinn-gegen-forschung-und-daten/

          • I am sorry to disappoint you for not fitting into one of your preconceived boxes. I am neither going for walks nor am I a “Querdenker”, but, I guess you’ll buttonhole me anew in a second.

Tell me one thing: What do you think these pathologists actually found and what is it we can see on the pics, tell me?

The follow-up to the autopsies was reassuring immune histology and now they have detected the spike protein via immune chemistry, what else do you want … Let alone science for a second, I believe them to be men of integrity with no conflicts of interest or the like, they went public and offered any other experts to look at the findings, I have no reason to doubt these results, especially not when ppl like Prof. Schirmacher thought along similar lines.

So pls spare me links of some spineless fact-checkers with political agenda.

        • @DanLucas

Just keep on to put up smokescreens. It is of no use to you

Statement of the German Society of Pathology (DGP) on the press conference “Cause of death after COVID-19 vaccination”.

The DGP strongly dissociates itself from a video of a press conference on the topic “Cause of death after COVID-19 vaccination” currently published in social media, which was initiated by two retired pathologists and an electrical engineer.

These are personal expressions of opinion and not the position of our professional society.

As already critically noted by others, the data presented are not scientifically sound.

To date, the DGP is not aware of any striking correlation of deaths in connection with COVID-19 vaccination – although of course it cannot be ruled out that vaccination can also cause complications.

The Paul Ehrlich Institute is responsible for recording and evaluating such undesirable side effects.

          https://www.pathologie-dgp.de/die-dgp/aktuelles/meldung/statement-der-dgp-zur-pressekonferenz-todesursache-nach-covid-19-impfung

Pathology Conference is the name of a website run by opponents of governmental protective measures against the new Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus. The site, which originated in 2021, addresses a September 2021 press conference and a second press conference in early December 2021. At the press conference, two retired pathologists and an electrical engineer appeared to report on their own investigations into individuals who had died after receiving Corona vaccinations. The site initially linked to a Youtube video in which the press conference was videotaped. The video has since been removed by Youtube for violating its own rules, but it continues to circulate on other video portals. A scientific publication of the pathologists mentioned is not mentioned; one chose exclusively the dissemination channel via groups that draw attention to views of opponents of protective measures on the Internet. In this way, scientific discourse among experts is avoided.

          https://www.psiram.com/de/index.php/Pathologie-Konferenz_(Querdenkenbewegung)

  • Interesting how these hugely arrogant but rather unintelligent people come up with demands, but NOT with any rationale for those demands, other than “We Know Better than the Real Experts” – oh, and some ‘facts’ and ‘research’ straight from their own imagination, completely divorced from reality (e.g. that Covid-19 vaccination is supposedly ‘experimental gene therapy’).

OK then, being just as much a non-expert as many of these people, here is my DEMAND: that the German health authority suspends the medical licenses of any doctors involved in this organization, pending an investigation into behaviour and dissemination of information that is likely to cause harm to the larger population (e.g. actions against vaccination).

There! Now let’s see whose demands get granted first …

  • Unfortunately, calling people idiots merely ensures that they double down on their idiocy. As a fellow academic, you have (unlike myself) the standing to ask the MWGFD who they suggest should draw up these „easily applicable concepts”referred to in their point 4 and what these, in the MWGFD’s opinion, should look like. Please share their reply with us!

  • Why have they just not do what Dr Flemming has done?
    Microscope
    Blood
    Vaccine
    How hard is it?
    https://www.flemingmethod.com/the-pfizer-vaccine-blood

    • @Jeffrey Bloom

      How hard is it?

Spreading lies is not hard, even total ignoranuses like you can do it as a matter of routine.
And like everything you’ve posted here so far, this story from Richard Fleming too is just another egregious lie, intended to scare people away from vaccines: https://shepherdgazette.com/fact-check-this-video-by-dr-richard-fleming-does-not-prove-pfizers-covid-19-vaccine-attacks-human-blood-creating-clots/

“Does Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine attack human blood and cause dangerous clots? No, there’s no publicly available evidence to support the claim. There is no website at the address the video maker sends viewers to for details on the blood exam. The Food & Drug Administration in 2009 barred this video’s maker, Dr. Richard Fleming, from working with anyone seeking FDA approval of a drug or medicine, citing his conviction on federal fraud charges.”

And no, there is not a single report of blood clots that can be attributed to the use of the Pfizer vaccine.

Summary: Fleming is just another con artist who decided to jump on the Covid-19 antivaccine & pseudoscience bandwagon in order to get his share of fame and fortune, flaunting his credentials to increase his credibility to gullible suckers.

      • Jeffrey

flaunting his credentials to increase his credibility to gullible suckers.

That’s you, Jeff. And your friends. Mindlessly parroting anything which appears to support your agenda. You’re a mark, reeled in by the hucksters. You don’t have the training or intelligence to perform any kind of critical analysis and hence are prey to the con-artists and the loons, all leading back to the arch-huckster himself, Andrew Wakefield, your flawed idol who stands upon his cracked and rickety pedestal raking the cash in from halfwits like yourself who worship him. And you just can’t admit it. Because to do so would be to acknowledge your own flaws. To admit that there are things you don’t understand. But you can’t.

Meanwhile, the real world carries on.

    • I’m sure this will do a lot to boost the credibility of the video: “aired by Alex Jones (InfoWars)”. /sarc

    • @Jeffrey Bloom

In that link of yours, Dr. Fleming proudly proclaims that his video was covered by Alex Jones/Info Wars. That says a lot about what kind of doctor this Fleming fellow is.

For those who are not familiar with Alex Jones, he is the USA’s finest “reporter” who hasn’t won the Pulitzer yet (I am talking to you Pulitzer committee). He is widely known for talking shit and talking to shit, literally.

As for you Jeffery Bloom, I am not at all surprised that you would quote something covered by lunatics like Alex Jones.

  • There are a number of the signatories who appear to be neither physicians nor scientists, from their titles or occupations:
    Dr.-Ing. (Doctor of Engineering)
Psychologische Beraterin, Lehrerin (psychological counsellor, teacher)
    Rechtsanwältin (lawyer)
Rechnungswesen, Controlling, Steuern, Fachbereich Wirtschaft (accountancy, audit(?), taxation, Business Faculty)
Lehrstuhl für Bürgerliches Recht, Verfahrens- und Unternehmensrecht (professorial chair of citizen’s law (rights?), procedural and human rights law)
Autor, Finanzexperte und freier Journalist (Author, finance expert and freelance journalist)

And there are a few others who might be added, depending on just how far you are willing to stretch the definition of “physician”.

    • @ prl

The MWGFD members ground themselves on the GBD. That is not reprehensible, there is no universal scientific consensus. There are different expert opinions, world views and interests. And a scientific consensus is not automatically scientific fact. It may be that one prefer the reasoning of the John Snow Memorandum to the GBD, but what needs to be always kept in mind is that scientists are not value-free, objective decision makers in a vacuum; they are human beings with vested interests, in need of funding and careers at stake. Social dynamics, psychological mechanisms make the landscape of opinions appear more homogeneous than it actually is, or, rather should be. Anybody’s previous conditioning and self image can make it difficult to accept data which challenges those convictions and preferences. Scientific authorities have mislead others in the past. Research monopoles, centralised funding, return-on-investment science, and careerists vs. idealists…

Cui bono? Isn’t it a legitimate question of general public’s interest to ask which of the two approaches yields more money and political control for whom? Are the major institutions and players that provide vast amounts of medical funding, for instance, truly neutral and free of political interests when they proclaim, “Let’s vaccinate the whole world”? Focusing only high-risk groups alone, who far outnumber young death, is a loss for whom and a gain for whom?

NIH Director Collins in an email to NIAID Director Fauci about the GBD: “This proposal from the three fringe epidemiologists…seems to be getting a lot of attention – and even a co-signature from Nobel Prize winner Mike Leavitt at Stanford. There needs to be a quick and devastating published take down (!!!) of its premises. Is it underway?”

Another case in point: the FDA advisory panel voted overwhelmingly against the use of Covid booster vaccines (Pfizer) in the general population on September 17, 2021. They recommended vaccinating only those who are at high risk. However, the Biden administration overrode the experts’ opinion and recommended booster vaccinations for all adults.

The evaluation of a risk-benefit-ratio should include many factors (incl. economics, social cohesion, psychological well-being of children, and of course AEs of new vaccines, etc.) and for that reason also different experts to be truly meaningful in preventing human suffering in a holistic way. This is somewhat like calculating a country’s implicit debt, which gives a much clearer picture, rather than just focusing on explicit debt. In hindsight, there is something to learn from countries like Sweden…continuous revaluation and a lively discussion is needed rather than buttonholing and silencing ppl with other opinions, that is what the article of Ioannidis is also stressing.

      • @DanLucas

        Cui bono?

Ah, look, you stumbled upon a bit of Latin, and you didn’t even make a spelling mistake copy-pasting it! Well done!

Anyway, no sane person makes this “Cui bono” argument; it is used exclusively by antivaxxers, conspiracy cranks and other nitwits to argue that “It is not about health, it is about the munney!!!” With the underlying assumption that virtually all scientists, doctors and public health officials are willing to harm & kill millions of people at the drop of a hat (or at the drop of a fistful of dollars), and keep this hushed up indefinitely to boot. Which of course is an insane notion if you stop and think about it for even one second.

Another thing that I find interesting to see is that antivaxx loonies like you will never even admit that vaccination efforts are at the very least intended to protect people from disease and death. From the onset, you assume foul play and scream murder about how vaccines are harmful (they are not), how vaccination campaigns and mandates limit our sacred personal freedoms (I’d say a wooden box six feet under is rather more limiting to personal freedom, but hey, what do I know …), and – here we are – that it’s not about people’s health, but about making money.
Well, yes, vaccines and vaccination campaigns and the whole circus around it cost money. Lots of money, actually, and yes, the people and the companies supplying these vaccines and services expect to be paid.
But how can you loonies make the inference from this that vaccines are harmful? I’d say that the actual opposite applies. I myself have been running a successful small business in electronics engineering, and I can tell you from experience that the best way to make lots of money is to deliver the best possible quality in products and services. Any business that forgets or neglects this basic point is doomed to go down, most sooner than later. And over the decades, I’ve seen quite a few of them making the mistake of neglecting quality, because they thought that a fast buck was more important – invariably to their detriment.

    • I note that you fail to address the point was making, that a significant number of the listed members of the “Society of Physicians and Scientists for Health, Freedom and Democracy” are neither physicians nor scientists.

Even the always liberal Ryan Grim had to admit that Pfizer was less than transparent with the knowledge of the testing results.
More to come, it’s not over yet. In the end, Pfizer will be hated by the public for what they’ve done.

    • I like the way you can predict the future.
can you please tell me the winning numbers for next week’s lotto?

    • @James Joromat
Can you link an actual article that I can read? You know, letters and words and paragraphs and other stuff that you may vaguely remember, preferably with references to real science.
Videos about Covid-19 are for stupid people.

      • To Richard

lol… Rich, I don’t tell you how to post.

A picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll stick with pictures.
Last I checked, videos haven’t been censured …. yet.

        • I don’t tell you how to post. I just prefer written text over videos – because I can skim a text in mere seconds to see if it’s any good, whereas watching a video takes up lots of time. And especially videos about Covid-19 are usually dumb propaganda both made by and aimed at stupid people, and thus a waste of that precious time. Judging by your comments I’m pretty sure the latter is the case here as well.

  • @Richard Rasker

    The problem Richard I have with meeting your request is this;

If I don’t provide some “evidence” … you won’t accept my alter view.
If I do provide “evidence”, you don’t accept it because it’s hot from your TNI (Trusted News Initiative) approved media sources.
TNI is a group of worldwide big media AND social media sources that set themselves up in charge of determining what is truth and what is misinformation.

You leave me few options. So, I’d rather not waste allot of time posting “evidence” that is hurled out the window in a moment, regardless of the source.

You sir are one of the unsuspecting sheeple that has bought into the false narrative and lies of the TNI.
I’ll continue posting videos, have a nice day.
