I have to admit that the ‘Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research and Development‘ did not formerly belong to my reading list. This will have to change, I guess, because any journal capable of publishing such a hilarious spoof ought to be read regularly.

It is so badly written tha I wonder if is some first-year undergraduate essay submitted as a joke.
I cannot remember the details but a very distinguished Chinese researcher has the story of how he and some friends as students submitting a crazy paper (transplanted head, perhaps?) to a very reputable journal. To their surprise it got published. I assume he is now being haunted by this ghost in his past.
These type of papers are so common in India so much so that even major politicians and celebrities cites these types of articles in their speech and talks. Astrological (pseudo) science is used by Indian traditional medicine practitioners ( charlatans) all the time for explaining the pathophysiology of a disease. Now a days the modern medicine doctors also fell into this kind of absurdity , thanks to ultranationalism
