I thought it was interesting, looked up its author ("Shawn is a philosopher and writer educated at York University in Toronto, and the author of two books. He's also worked with Aboriginal youth in the Northwest Territories of Canada") and decided to respond by writing a blog-post rather than by answering Alli directly.
